With generous stability, great upwind performance, smooth passage through the waves, low drag for light winds, the goal was to be able to equip a 40 ‘yacht with all the innovations that characterize the higher-end models, while keeping the signature of the designer Javier Soto Acebal. Thus was born the Solaris 40, with an infinite number of features that characterize this new project in terms of hull performance and navigation comfort. 

 

Starting from the hull, an extremely round bow line was chosen, characterized by a small chine that ends in the middle of the hull. The high buoyancy at the bow is more than compensated by the amplitude of the stern plane, characterized by the presence of two rudders that guarantee ample stability of the route.

 

 The cockpit is extremely large with full-width rudder columns: the only way to steer with an unobstructed view and with the sprayhood raised. Forward of the helmsman’s columns, we find the classic steps to climb on the walks, from these the inclined lifelines in the stern part. The interiors, created with the help of the architect Roseo, are presented in two versions: 3 cabins 2 bathrooms or 2 cabins and 2 bathrooms, with separate shower. The interior design is extremely refined and of high quality, with the cabinets that contain the 6 hull windows. The layout is classic with an L-shaped kitchen to the left of the entrance.
