Born in Australia, I was a paratrooper and para-rigger in the Australian Army prior to launching a professional career in the Marine industry over 30 years ago.
My maritime career commenced on Australia’s east coast at the Whitsunday islands and Great Barrier Reef , having the privilege of sailing on renowned former Americas Cup yachts and Captaining Ocean Maxis for charter. Afterwards, experiencing expeditions in the Southern Ocean on a great white shark research vessel with ocean conservationists and documentary filmmakers.
A move to France provided an opportunity to perform for the next 8 years as an officer onboard some of the largest privately owned and successful chartered Super Yachts in the world, with years spent throughout the Americas, Caribbean islands and the Mediterranean Sea and several Atlantic crossings along with voyages to the North Sea and Baltic Sea, while undertaking studies for my Master Class 3 license.
Finally relocating to South East Asia in 2006 to establish a career in yacht sales and founding Inspire Marine.
